The coil microphones pick up the electromagnetic fields produced by the concealed wiring of the space, the signal is then amplified and sent to speakers. The connection is interrupted by printed circuit boards, whose conductive tracks are joined once the snails crawl over them. The sound then lasts until the slime excreted from the snails dries out.
